Rock The Wood

A unique community opportunity celebration

Recognizing an urgent need for change in the Englewood community, this past summer we hosted a unique community resource fair with leading educational organizations, the Department of Health and Human Services, Representatives from our local Senator’s office, CPS administrators, teachers, local business owners, entrepreneurs and community leaders.

Help us bring more valuable resources, exposure and inspiring interactions into the Englewood Community.

Englewood’s original community-run resource festival to promote peace, understanding and ownership in our  underserved neighborhood.  Attendees will participate in a plethora of free, fun activities and educational workshops including breathing exercises and mindfulness, community skill/service building, personal/family counseling and other valuable outreach services for underserved citizens from “The Wood” and beyond.  Generous local providers include Heartland Health Alliance, Family Centered Education Agency, TRIO Upward Bound, Englewood Branded and others. Food from Harold’s and water will be provided.
