SFH Scholars will receive funding towards the cost of attendance not already covered by other forms of aid. These include tuition, housing, transportation, meal plans and other essential expenses.

Eligibility: A high school senior or undergraduate 

• From one of the following ethnicities: African American, American Indian, Asian & Pacific Islander American, or Hispanic American

• Pell-eligible  

• A US citizen, national, or permanent resident 

• In good academic standing with a minimum 2.5 GPA

Additionally, high school seniors must plan to enroll full-time at a post-secondary institution. Undergraduate students must remain full-time unless a circumstance prevents such. 

Ideal Candidate 

• Demonstrates leadership ability (e.g., as shown through participation in community service and other activities.

• Exceptional personal success skills (e.g., emotional maturity, motivation, perseverance, etc.).
