On December 23rd, come celebrate with local families and community partners at our 8th Annual Hopeful Holiday!
Our annual Support A Scholar Campaign, Hunger Relief, Hopeful Holiday, Rock the Wood Resource Block Party and other hope building community events are the bedrock of our mission to provide for underserved children, families and homeless residents in Chicago and beyond.
A critical role of being a Servant For Hope is providing for those who have the greatest need. Throughout the year, we distribute Comfort Kits with essential seasonal survival items to homeless residents while providing other valuable/urgent services and critical information about assisted living housing, free work/career skill training and other resources (e.g. sign up for SNAP, get a library card, search/apply/interview for a job, mental health referrals…)
Servants For Hope Scholarships are personalized, supplemental financial aid to support students from low-income neighborhoods. We firmly believe in the value of a post-secondary education and support exceptional scholars from marginalized communities on their academic journey. Thank you for making a donation to fund one of our SFH Scholarships today. 🙏🏾❤️💯
While we focus on funeral aid for families who have lost loved ones, we also assist with other crisis situations such as negotiating improvements and payment plans with landlords, utility companies, civic services., etc. We are also continually identifying and addressing other dignity driven needs and providing family wellness kits (i.e., coats, boots, gloves, hats for kids) to help keep them healthy and safe especially during the harsh winter months.
